Electric Vehicles Gain Momentum
The electric vehicle (EV) market has witnessed a remarkable transformation in recent years, with the adoption rate increasing steadily. As of 2025, the global EV market has grown by 20% year-over-year, with sales reaching a record high. Governments worldwide have introduced incentives to encourage the adoption of EVs, such as tax credits and exemptions from certain tolls and parking fees.

The European Union has set a target of having at least 50% of new car sales be electric by 2035.
The US aims to have 50% of new vehicle sales be electric by 2030.
China, the world's largest vehicle market, has set a target of achieving 20% of its vehicle sales to be electric by 2025.
