As a child of privilege, I was encouraged to push boundaries and test the limits, cultivating an uncanny ability to stay under the radar. In HIGH RISE, I encounter a cast of complex characters, each with their own agendas and motivations. From Hubertus, the charismatic and adventurous Icelandic dealer, to Jeb, the larger-than-life Maryland-fox-sighting Joe, I find myself entangled in a treasure trove of twisting relationships and murky loyalties.
Into the Abyss
One of the most profound lessons I've learned in my journey is that true strength lies in vulnerability. When I let my guard down, I'm able to form meaningful connections with others, connections that ignite a fire of growth and transformation within me. In conversations with my friend Joel Dolliver, I often hear him say, "The stronger the games, the more delicate the treatment. You have to anticipate every scenario possible to avoid getting caught."
